A
New Multi-Agency Early Intervention and Prevention Approach.
Services
for Children and Young People nationally have been going through a
period of radical change with an increased emphasis on prevention and
early intervention. Tameside Strategic partnership has responded well
to this with a very full range of these services across its Children In
Need Framework. All of the agencies involved now want to take this
agenda further to increase the impact of these services with shared
systems and processes, drawing together early risk factors, triggers
and interventions and considering the viability of multi-agency
prevention teams across the borough.
This
is both an exciting and challenging agenda involving the full range of
statutory and non-statutory local agencies, each with their own
organisational priorities, cultures, enthusiams and ideas.
The
task for Sinead Brophy Consulting has been to gather the energies of
this complex environment and use it to innovate and change for a better
future.
With
our help Tameside is now well on its way to agreeing an across the
Local Strategic partnership, We anticipate this will act as a test bed
for a borough wide approach to Early Intervention and Prevention as
part of their Place
